Definitions

Fitness Sessions – are any fitness related service including but not limited to Group Fitness classes, Fitness Assessments, Personal Fitness Sessions and Partner Fitness Sessions.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Personal Training Sessions

If a client has to cancel or reschedule any previously scheduled appointments, the client must contact the personal trainer directly at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment.

If a client does not cancel or reschedule an appointment at least 24 hours in advance, Karen El-Azzi reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee equivalent to a full personal training fee that would normally be charged for that training session.

If a client fails to appear for a scheduled appointment, Karen El-Azzi reserves the right to charge a no show fee equivalent to the personal training fee that would have been charged for the training session.

The same conditions apply in reverse as the trainer’s obligation to clients. The trainer must provide 24hrs notice if they cannot make a session, or they will train the client for free, for one session, to make it up.

Pre-paid Single Sessions

If you cancel your fitness session outside 24hrs, your session will be marked as “missed” and we will reschedule it for a later time. Missed sessions can be made up within the same term or the following term, up to a maximum of 2 sessions. Missed sessions over and above 2, will be forfeited.

There are no fees or penalties to cancel or reschedule sessions outside of the 24hr cancellation period.

Prepaid sessions cancelled within 24hrs will be forfeited.

Missed prepaid sessions must be made up at a later date, or given away to a friend or family member. The chosen family member or friend will be required to fill out the exercise pre-screening form, prior to first session.

Partner Training Sessions

In addition to the 24hr cancellation policy, outlined above. Partner sessions will be charged at the full rate, whether 1 or the full number of registered participants attend the session.

Full Term Pre-paid Sessions

Pre-paid term classes are not refundable in part or in full for non-attendance for all or part of the term. Any missed sessions can be made up in another scheduled class within that same term (not including specialised classes such as Mumma Fit classes). It is up to the client to contact the trainer to confirm space in their desired makeup class.

Missed sessions not made-up during the same term will be forfeited.

Allowances may be considered for extended injury or illness of 4 weeks or more with medical certificate provided.

Full Term Pre-paid Sessions – Mumma Fit

Mumma fit pre-paid term classes are not refundable in part or in full for non-attendance for all or part of the term. Up to 2 sessions may be carried over and made up in the same type of class (or similar as determined by Karen El-Azzi) the following term or the next time that class is offered, whichever is sooner.

Missed sessions over and above 2, will be forfeited. Missed sessions not made-up during the next available term of the same type of class (or similar as determined by Karen El-Azzi) will be forfeited.

Allowances may be considered for extended injury or illness of 4 weeks or more with medical certificate provided.

Pre-paid 10 Group Session Pass Sessions

If a client has to cancel or reschedule any previously booked group session, the client must contact the personal trainer directly at least 24 hours in advance of the booked group session.

If a client cancels their fitness session outside 24hrs, their session will be marked as “missed” and they can reschedule it for a later time. Missed sessions can be made up until the expiry of the 10 group session pass. It is up to the client to reschedule the session.

There are no fees or penalties to cancel or reschedule sessions outside of the 24hr cancellation period.

Pre-paid 10 group session pass sessions cancelled within 24hrs will be forfeited.

Expiry and Conditions

10 Group Session Passes

10 group session passes are valid for a period of 4 months from the date of purchase and entitle you to attend any 10 group fitness sessions offered (pending booking availability). All sessions remaining past the expiry date will be forfeited. They can not be used for personal training, partner training services or group school holiday camp sessions.

Gift Certificates

Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash and are non-refundable. All purchases are final. Gift certificates can be transferred when requested in writing to karen@thrivetogether.com.au. Lost or stolen gift certificates will not be replaced. Session bookings made using gift certificates must made prior to the gift certificate’s expiry date; the booking can be for a session scheduled to up to 1 month after the gift certificate’s expiry date. Gift certificates can be used to upgrade to a more expensive service; payment of the difference between the voucher and the upgraded service will be required at time of booking to confirm booking. Gift vouchers cannot be used for cheaper services; Clients wishing to do so will forfeit the difference between the value of the gift certificate and the cheaper service. Normal service cancellation policy applies to session bookings made using a gift certificate.

I am committed to protecting the privacy and security of personal information collected from our customers, suppliers and supporters as stipulated in the Privacy Act 1988. If you disagree with our online privacy policies as set out below, you should not use this website or provide us with your personal details.

Your use of this website is deemed to signify your acceptance of these privacy policies. When and why your information may be requested: You can visit this website and access information without giving us any personal information. However, if you decide to attend a workshop or class, we require your full name, phone number and email address. We may from time to time, use your email address to send you class reminders and keep you updated with our activities.

I, Karen El-Azzi (trading as Thrive Together) pledge that any personal information I hold about my customers is kept safely and securely and will never be sold, given or shared with any third party. You have the right to access and correct your personal information and privacy preferences at any time. You can also unsubscribe from our email newsletters or have your name and address details taken off our database at any time. Infant Massage Class Protocol

Start time

Due to the nature of the sessions and the comfort of families, sessions will start promptly at the designated start time. Anyone arriving after the start time is of course welcome to join the session, but due to time constraints we will not be able to revisit any topics covered prior to their arrival. Trainers will do a brief review in subsequent sessions of the previous session’s content. There is also a parent/carer instruction manual available for purchase to all attendees and trainer’s are available to answer questions once the session has finished.

Mobile phones

To assist in the effective delivery of the information during each session and to reduce possible disturbance of the infants and children in the class, we ask that all mobile phones are turned off prior to the session commencing.

Massage Oil

Thrive Together recommends and promotes the use of organic cold pressed fruit, vegetable or nut oils for use on infants. Based on this recommendation.
